The year is rounding up, and in a few days, Father Time will deal a hard blow to 2019, sending the year, and decade into oblivion.

This will usher in a new year, as well as a new decade, which will be important for those who hold cryptocurrencies.

But in this one, I wish to reflect upon the best performers of this year.

And give possible guesses on which will perform best next year.

You obviously know number 1, and that is Bitcoin

July and October were massive months for the tip crypto by market cap.

Capturing over 500% gains since January the first, this coin trumped all others. As usual.

The next was Ethereum, even if the currency has been on a serious downtrend lately.

With over 70% gains since January the first, this coin has been one of the top performers this year. And I personally feel that it will moon next year.

Lastly is.... Litecoin.

With over 53% gains this year, the coin proved to be a great buy to all its its investors.
