The crypto market is amazing, and I won't trade it for the stock market or Forex.
But many hardened Forex traders spit in crypto's face, saying it's a 'phase' and that it'll soon be gone like the wind.
Don't let me get started on fundamental stock traders.
So who is right? Which market is the best?
Well, I personally am an above average trader with over 5 years of experience and more net wins than losses.
And I have traded both the Forex and Stock markets, as well as the crypto market.
My personal favourite is the crypto market(disclaimer) but that won't make me biased.
In a recent experiment, I decided to place $50 into all three markets, and see the ones that gave me money at the end of the day.
While doing nothing to the trades at all.
Yes, I simply 'bought' the commodities and left them alone. I didn't make any trades. I didn't sell or buy. I just bought and checked up with it after 24 hours.
How did it go?
Well, I'll first have to tell you what I bought.
So I bought $50 worth of BTC, $50 worth of DANGCEM and $50 worth of CHF/USD(I did margin my trade in forex, because $50 us way too miniscule an amount to even think of starting with. I used 1:50 leverage, giving my total equity an extra $2450)
How did it go?
Well, my BTC investment was up by 1.03%, and my DANGCEM was up 0.60%. My CHF/USD was down about 38 pips, and it wasn't showing any signs of rebounding soon.
So what did I conclude with?
Obviously, this experiment was in no way scientific.
But that's how a beginner with no experience would probably invest. But and hold.
And checking up on his investment the next day would be very exciting for him to see that it's up 1 or 2 percent.
That's why I didn't trade at all.
I obviously can't say for sure which market is better, but if I were to choose, I'd go with the crypto market.
Simply because there's more opportunity there to make(and lose) money.
