Two very different browsers.
Made by different companies but with the same end goal: Privacy and anti-ad movement.
So which one does it better? And which one should you download?
First off, both of them are around the same size on the playstore. (About 75MB or so. )
I feel that that is important to know in a comparison.
So if you don't know what Tenta is, it is a super secure online browser that puts anonymity before any thing else. It has an inbuilt VPN that is always on unless you turn it off, and all your data packets, both sent and received are encrypted using 256 bit SSL technology. So even Tenta doesn't know what packets you're sending and receiving.
The Tenta browser can also block Tor requests making your mobile wallet insusceptible to hacks.
It also has a secure password enclave where you can generate secure passwords and save them to your enclave. And the best part is that this enclave is stored locally, not on any servers. So online hacks won't be easy.
Tenta has an advanced ad blocker that blocks ads WITHIN YouTube videos. Now I know that Brave does something similar, but this is just so cool.
You can also use Tenta to bypass ad locked upgrades. So you could use this app and earn unlimited Litecoin for free using Tenta.
Tenta also has the ability to send and receive Tor requests so you can increase the encryption and anonymity of your online presence even more.
Brave on the other hand is cryptocurrency driven.
There's no inbuilt VPN or Tor block engine, but there's a very cool feature that picks the ads you see, which means that these ads are only what you'd be interested in. I explained that here so I won't go into detail.
Brave also gives you the ability to earn money, which is a major decision for some. But let's assume that blocking ads is all it does.
So which one will you choose?
Obviously Tenta wins this comparison by leaps and spades. Yes Brave's color scheme is more pleasing to the eye, bit that's just about it when it comes to points for Brave.
Yes the ability to earn BAT is superior and unique to Brave, but in regions where that isn't available, Tenta is more or less your only option for a fully featured browser that is free.
