How much is the fish? I mean, does adding a wrap and a bow truly increase it's value? At what point did the humanity reach consensus that the value of thought, action and life is decided by the wavelength of refracted light coming from rags?

Waste making bio-machines proudly parade their perfectly cut trash bags, imagining the universe revolving around their inadequacy to be valuable beyond the colours just like some flowers are bright only to attract the pollinators. Like the majority can't see beyond that. Everyone wants to be the prettiest flower, the lion with loudest roar, the Queen Bee... But most are useful as much as a petal of a flower vibrating in the wind, losing grip as days go. Wrinkling up and celebrating the hardening, but that's only the natural process of drying up until you float away to the ground only to be crushed to dust.
