The language of money

The language of money

By band | Prophet of Markets | 21 Mar 2019

Money, whether hard cash or crypto, seems to be fluid.

Consider the following phrases:

Cash flow.

Liquid assets.

Currency.

Bank.

Flood the market.

Money laundering.

Solvency.

Pump cash in.

Sinking fund.

Float a loan.

Bitcoin faucet.

And because money is fluid, it has to flow.

When we nip that energy, money stops flowing.

Money is expansive and must be shared around.

Whoever hoards it stops the circulation of money.

A mountain stream or a waterfall leads to the river.

In turn, the river leads back to the ocean.

And when water evaporates, it condenses into clouds.

When the clouds get heavy, rain pours back to earth.

On and on the cycle goes.

It's how earth remains lush and fertile.

Same thing with money, it must flow.

It must circulate.

Money's energy.

It must flow freely.

Money is also a tool.

It gets us to where we need to go.

It gives us the opportunity to buy and sell.

We get to trade.

Whether gold-backed or bitcoin-backed, money's got to go around.

The poor suffer when the rich or those in the know hoard all the currency.

Thanks to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, others have a better chance to have wealth, too.

You may want to view a 10-minute trailer of "All the Money in the World".

You will see a trait of John Paul Getty II, the richest man in the world in the 70s.

Money can do much good in this world, provided we all share with each other.

And not measure each other by how much gold or money we have.

In the end, we don't bring anything with us when we pass on.

There's no need to.
