President Trump's Sad Attack Attempt Against Senator Bernie Sanders

Senator Bernie Sanders has recently taken the lead in both early states in the Democratic Presidential Primaries, the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire Primary, and we have gotten the first hint of how President Trump will campaign against Sen. Bernie Sanders.

President Trump has came out recently in two emails which President Trump's campaign sent out, one saying “DANGEROUS: Bernie Sanders Can’t Be Trusted To Defend American Lives” in response to Sen. Sander's opposition to President Trump's escalations with Iran, and goes on to say," Sanders opposed taking top terrorist Soleimani off the battlefield while repeating Iranian and Russian propaganda." I'd first like to recognize the irony is President Trump now pushing the anti-Russia narrative, and how quickly things have changed regarding Trump, when not long ago he was talking about pulling out of Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, but we all know how much his word is worth. Now, getting to the main smear, that Sen. Sanders somehow supports "terrorists" because he opposes President Trump's unilateral unconstitutional act of war. That isn't a good attack, especially when more Americans are against the attack on Iraq which killed General Soleimani. This attack is very weak.

The second email that Trump's campaign sent out was headed with "FACT: Bernie Sanders Is A Wealthy, Fossil Fuel-Guzzling Millionaire," come on, that is just hilarious. Really? So the supposed billionaire real estate mogul, who flies across the country to play golf every weekend, Donald Trump is trying to go after Sen. Sanders for being "A Wealthy, Fossil Fuel-Guzzling Millionaire," makes sense right? Then the email goes on to say, "Just like the wealthy Hollywood elite, Bernie Sanders lectures Americans how to live their lives while doing the exact opposite,' which doesn't make any sense because unlike President Trump, Sen. Sanders takes public transportation, and uses commercial air travel whenever it is possible(which being on the campaign trail it is difficult to always fly commercial). So, we have Hollywood elite billionaire, Donald Trump, saying that Bernie Sanders is a Hollywood elitist millionaire. Makes so much sense. Again, such a weak attack.

These are horrible attacks. What has happened to President Trump? I remember the 2016 Republican Primaries, and I remember the 2016 General very well, heck he attacks people all the time, Sen. Warren, VP Biden, so why not Sen. Sanders? Could it be because President Trump is afraid of Sen. Bernie Sanders? The Daily Beast reported back in September 2019, that socialism won't be an easy thing to run against. According to a source which was in the room, President Trump said “you can have someone who loves Trump, but many people love free stuff, too,” and trying to win over Americans and the Youth that “that’s a tough one.” Which he is correct, Sen. Bernie Sanders has the highest support of any candidate among the youth vote, going along with the trend of 2016, where Sen. Sanders received nearly as many Youth votes in the 2016 primaries that Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, and Ted Cruz combined, but compared to President Trump's Youth vote, Sen. Sanders more than doubled Trump's youth vote.

It seems as though President Trump doesn't want actually go after Sen. Sanders, as he has to any other person. I wonder why.
