Why does one person's photos look cool, and another person, having photographed the same thing in the same place, gets something indistinct?
The answer is simple. Highlight the main thing!
I tell you by example.
I was driving along the Neva Embankment in St. Petersburg one day and I saw a cloud of a very unusual shape on the other side and hung right over the houses.
I park, go out to the embankment, take out my phone and try to take a picture.
I get a river, then houses and the sky, quite a lot and everything is lost.
Then I placed my cloud in the center of the frame and photographed it as close as my phone could. So that the cloud and the house are as close as possible.
It's a pity there are no examples left. Since I took the photo a long time ago.
Then I look and still see that the river and the houses on the right and left hinder me.
I open Photoshop on my phone and just frame it so as to remove everything that prevents me from focusing on the cloud and the house.
Feel free to cut off everything that gets in the way. We select the main semantic object.
According to the rules of the frame layout, I placed the houses at the very bottom of the frame, thereby they ended up in the lower third of the frame, and the rest of the space is occupied by the sky, space and cloud.

You can also trim the sky and make a slightly different aspect ratio. But this is a matter of taste.
Below is a cropped photo. Write in the comments which one you like more.
