The modern "Russian Federation" is governed by an illegitimate regime formed as a result of a chain of absolutely illegitimate "elections" and "referendums" that are not recognized by the normal world. And even in the conditions of repression and wars of conquest.
In fact, Russia has a situation of "forcible seizure and forcible retention of power" (a particularly serious article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, by the way). Hundreds of thousands of people are involved in this ongoing crime as conscious organizers and perpetrators, but it does not cease to be a crime.
Those who are fighting this (by planting bombs under bandit "raspberries", places of their gatherings, harming the infrastructure and the leadership of criminals), in fact, perform the functions of law enforcement agencies. Their struggle and their methods are legitimate by definition, for quite obvious reasons.
That's what needs to be understood in the fight against Putin's totalitarianism.
A totalitarian regime has been formed in Russia - the most terrible since the days of Stalinism. And if we take into account the destructive nightmare that this regime is creating on the territory of Ukraine, then it can be compared in cruelty with Stalinism.
In these circumstances, the right of Russians to forcefully resist Putin's state is absolutely legitimate. Moreover, in conditions of the complete destruction of any political life in the country, the only form of political activity available to people is power struggle. There are no other mechanisms for changing power and changing the course of government.
If a Russian wants to engage in political struggle now, it makes no sense for him to talk about elections - they are totally falsified. It also makes no sense for him to think about street protests - they are prohibited. He cannot achieve his political goals by engaging in journalism and public projects - the state has zero media sensitivity, zero reflection, it does not pay attention to either the press or the public.
There are no ways to damage the regime and bring its collapse closer, except by force.
People who have embarked on the path of violent resistance are engaged in politics, because there are no other forms of political activity in Russia.
Over and over again, I have to explain on my fingers, on children's cubes with letters: "There is evil and there are victims of evil."
You need to fight evil in the ways you can, help punish it, and eradicate it. This is the only way you can help the victims of evil to survive. There is no other way to help them. It's actually the main base of the whole universe, the whole fucking civilization. This truth cannot be denied, it cannot be devalued, roguishly placed in one or another "context", because it always exists outside and above any context. One should not try to dissect, half and quarter this truth based on "political expediency", "sympathy for one's country and one's people", etc.
If the evil is your "fellow tribesmen", the bearers of the same passport as yours, this is not at all a reason not to destroy such evil. On the contrary, you have an even greater responsibility, and you are even more obligated to fight.
This is some kind of monstrously hypocritical, truly fucking message.: "Putin is evil, but if you destroy Putin's servants who help him, you multiply evil." People saying that are just trying to piss in your mouth. Who do you have to be to not understand this?
Someday historians, sociologists, and psychologists will study this phenomenon of the current war with disgust. These are attempts to blur the clear public perception of Evil in a swamp of semitones.
