At the end of November 2024, an auto show was held in Los Angeles, and as I mentioned earlier, we visited it on the second day after its opening. I made a 10-minute video and you can also feel the atmosphere of this event.
Any test drive can be ordered as part of the auto show. You can also drive Jeep and Ford SUVs through a special obstacle course.
At the very beginning of my video, you can see the Nilu27 hypercar, and it's an interesting example. It is interesting because it was created by the famous designer Sasha Selipanov, who was born in Georgia. In 2001, his parents managed to send Sasha to the United States from Russia to study at the ArtCenter School of Design in California. After graduation, Selipanov worked for Volkswagen Group, then he worked at Lamborghini headquarters on the Huracan car, was the head of the design department of the French hypercar company Bugatti, where he worked on the Bugatti Chiron. In 2023, Selipanov and his wife Inna opened their own car design studio, Hardline27, and now the couple has introduced the Nilu27. This car is located at the very entrance of the exhibition and it is impossible to pass by and not notice it. At the time we saw this hypercar, we didn't know that its designer was Russian. By the way, I want to note that Sasha supports Ukraine, as evidenced by the post on his Instagram account dated February 23, 2022, and this is the Ukrainian flag!
In general, an American's car is his legs, his workhorse, and his family spends a lot of time in the car. Almost every adult in the United States has his own car. They come to choose it with the whole family. Cars are available for everyone who works. There are a lot of different lending and leasing programs for the purchase of cars. Cars are being changed like gloves here. There are 2-3 cars for each family.
Jeep, Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Honda, Acura, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Alfa Romeo, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Subaru, Vinfast (Vietnamese), KIA, Ford and others are represented at the exhibition. By the way, you can see the prices for some cars, I took them off...
