People here live a normal life. America is a country of working people, it gets up very early, at 5 a.m. everyone rushes to work. And at 4-5 pm, everyone rushes home to their families.
California is considered to have a golden climate. This climate is unique and is called the Mediterranean Sea, although this sea is far away. There is a desert on one side, there is no cold from here, there is a dry heat. On the other side is the ocean with a cold current, hence the coolness, the wind. The coastline of the ocean and the mountains run along the entire length of California. These are beaches and extraordinary beauty. But due to this geographical location and climate, there is a frequent danger of fires and earthquakes. As they say, there are no pluses without minuses... Fruits and vegetables are very cheap here, everything grows here, plus Mexico and South American countries are nearby... In general, the USA is a huge country and traveling across the states you can find any climate...
California is very densely populated, people live everywhere. Los Angeles County includes 88 cities. As of 2018, the population was more than 10 million inhabitants. And its area is 10,570 km2, and that's all Los Angeles. You won't notice how you got from one city to another, it's like moving to another area. But every such town has a Downtown, which means a city center with its own administration, with its own hospitals and infrastructure. But people mostly live in houses, in so-called residential areas, they are built around the center and gradually move to the hills. People live on every hill and mountain. You drive uphill and around the house, higher and higher, and it seems that everything, there is nowhere else to go... and suddenly, one turn and you're back in the city. Here is an example of such a populated hill... And there are roads inside.. There are a lot of such areas. Lots of greenery, lots of nature... I love my California...
I have been living in California since June 2022. Thanks to Putin and his regime. So all the problems of the Russian Federation are familiar to me. I still hope that Russia will become free, but I don't think it will happen soon. All the institutions of government, the country's resources, and business have been too heavily hijacked by one group of people, and this process continues. And yes, living here, life in Russia and its problems are becoming further and more incomprehensible to me. According to the news, it is difficult to imagine the real picture of life in the Russian Federation at the present time. That's what I have you for.
