Since June 10, 2025, almost the entire foreign Internet has been down. Since June 10, most sites and games have stopped working - both blocked and unblocked. However, sites with .ru domains are working suspiciously stably. What happened? At the very beginning, there was a version that there was a global failure in the global Internet. But these problems were fixed long ago. In Russia, foreign domains stopped working. As far as I understand from the information collected, the first to be affected by this problem were the Far East and the South of Russia. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, this problem is not yet widespread. At the time of writing (June 18), mass problems with the Internet are recorded in Siberia and the Urals. Providers MTS, Megafon, Beeline - contacting them is an absolutely useless undertaking in terms of the fact that they will explain anything to you. Most likely, they will answer you that the Internet is working stably, the problems are not widespread, they can request trace data to some sites. If you continue to pester them with questions, they will give a template answer that the problem with the Internet is not their fault. Whose fault is it? Well, you can definitely guess that Roskomnadzor is involved. In the official groups of RKN, Beeline, MTS, Megafon, many comments are erased, probably so as not to create a mass problem, but nevertheless there are complaints and there are quite a lot of them, you can go to the official groups of providers and check, well, or the official RKN group as well. If you try to use a working VPN, then foreign sites will work fine. It is logical that everything leads to the tricks of Roskomnadzor. And this is good if your VPN really works and does not fall off, which is absolutely impossible to guarantee. Moreover, according to other information, RKN has also begun mass blocking of VPN services. I am sure that the problem with the Internet will continue to gain momentum and more people will talk and write about it. My personal opinion about what is happening is that this is another striking phenomenon in favor of the agony of the criminal regime in Russia. Each time the idiocy of what is happening is more and more off the scale, such as the recent introduction of blocking cards for any small transfers and so on. Or just one news about writing off a long-term electricity bill for Tajikistan while simultaneously raising tariffs for Russians. Those who correspond to such inadequate actions and deeds on the part of the state are subject to increasingly strong indignation and resentment. People in Russia will continue to tolerate violations of their rights and freedoms, dance with a tambourine in search of bypasses of blockages and prohibitions, switch to the ru segment of the Internet, what do you think will happen or are you happy with everything and do not think that what is happening is arbitrariness?
