I am preparing to shoot a scene for a feature film.

It is necessary to study the biography of the writer, his style of work, techniques. Working with compositions and, most importantly, lighting.

In his works, the main and only source of lighting is the light from the window.

It seems simple, put it by the window and shoot. But when you immerse yourself in the history of each picture, in the meanings, you begin to see how the shadows are laid out, how the objects are highlighted and how they reveal the composition and meanings.

This cannot be achieved with simple daylight from the window.

There are theories that need to be tested and come to options for the technical implementation of this frame. Find the edge, understand the essence and touch the creativity of a great artist.
