Washington has unrealistic expectations about what can be achieved through a settlement or negotiations with Russia. To make the world a better place, we need to focus on a just world for Ukraine, a peaceful democracy that needs global help.
Whether in real estate, business, or geopolitics, they rarely lead to stunning victories, but instead lead to minor shifts in market equilibrium.
However, the stakes are much higher in this case. I am not sure that the current administration has the will or desire to achieve a more stable situation in Ukraine. And I would argue that the consequences could be that they might miss out on a more serious threat on the horizon. That is why the world must continue to act in support of the free, democratic and peace-loving people of Ukraine. By staying on the side of justice, we are truly helping to keep the world safe for future generations on our planet.
One day I came across the book "The Art of the Deal" from Donald Trump, it was in my hands, and I thought, who the hell is this guy who wrote this? I flipped through it, read it, and in my mind it turned out that it was just some kind of gibberish, you know, there are such points as "think big", "be flexible", and I'm like, my God, what a watered-down mess, nonsense, and then later I realized that this book is not even he wrote it, and it was written by Tony Schwartz, who, by the way, is an outspoken critic of Trump, and he says that Trump cannot be trusted, he is reckless. Okay, these are the words of Tony Schwartz, who wrote the book "The Art of the Deal," so it wasn't a book by a leader, even though everyone calls him a leader, a master negotiator. If Trump was such a master, how come he drove all his casinos and other businesses to a dead end, which left him with a debt of $1.8 billion? Who can bankrupt a casino in New Jersey? A brilliant businessman who knows more about everything than anyone. Look, for example, at real estate agents who could outwit some residents with the help of clever negotiations and get half-price real estate by the sea. The reality is that this doesn't happen, and both buyers and sellers have certain utility and preference factors, within which 5-10% fluctuations occur, but you won't get a radical, eye-popping deal just by being a negotiator. You need certain people who have certain levers of influence, who have capital that other people don't have, which will allow them to buy, for example, a destroyed building and then rebuild it. But these are not negotiations, these are other ideas. And the idea of negotiations is that someone can convince people to buy a property for 10 cents, but I haven't seen this, and none of my friends have either, maybe you've seen it? So it's more like a buzz when people talk about the leader in Washington as a master negotiator, whose skills are not much evidence, judging by his business dealings, and judging by a book that wasn't even written by him, virtually all of Trump's skills are empty talk. There's not much evidence that he really knows what he's doing, so when we talk about negotiations in Russia, people say, well, you know, Trump still might not reveal all his cards, he just wants to lure the Russian president into a room and then start real negotiations. Personally, I am extremely skeptical, in principle I always remain a skeptic, and the reason for skepticism is that there is additional evidence that, for example, when Trump tried to block aid to Ukraine through Speaker of the House Jay D. Vance last year. In addition, there is strong evidence that Trump had ties to Russia. When Deutsche Bank lent him over two billion dollars, it was a good enough bank to launder money. Trump's organization of the Universal Beauty Contest and his connections with Putin's oligarch Aras Agalarov (if you don't know about this, I advise you to search for this information, it's all available on the Internet). Well, Trump's own son once said himself that they have a disproportionate amount of investments in Russia, even the FBI investigated Trump's connection with Russia and accused him of money laundering. I could tell you about this investment investigation that was conducted with the help of a stolen dossier of Russian oligarchs, which was one of the most devastating if you haven't heard of it. It seems that Putin's oligarchs have invested in Trump. This is only a small part of the arguments that Trump may have a connection with Russia. So if I were an objective observer and a critical thinker, and based on his negotiating skills, as outlined in the book "The Art of Making a Deal," which he did not write, as well as his ties to Russia through the money of the oligarchs, I would say that I am inclined to believe that he is trying to help Moscow more. than freedom and democracy all over the world. How do we know if Russia is developing some kind of secret biological weapon, and Russia needs to get a break to continue its project? Did you know that even Yeltsin declared in the 90s that the country was working on the creation of biological drugs? There are quite strong arguments in favor of dual-use biological laboratories operating in Russia, which means, in addition to their medical use, these laboratories are probably used for other purposes. Therefore, if Europe agrees to freeze the conflict and abandon conventional weapons, then a sufficiently large biological threat may arise. These are, of course, assumptions, but it is necessary to know and take into account such arguments. Currently, the good news is that Zelensky has said he is going to stick to his ideas and ideals. Therefore, if the rest of the world shares these ideas and ideals, then there is a chance that this world will begin to change for the better, and the pretenders will be exposed.

Trump has never been a conscientious negotiator, and neither has Putin. Expecting someone to do something for the benefit of others is like waiting for the sun to orbit the Earth. Some people will believe them.
About two years ago, Vlad Wexler said that Russia would seek peace talks only from a position where they were weak, but they would demonstrate strength. The fact that the Russian economy is collapsing, its armed forces are falling apart, Ukraine just needs to keep moving forward. Even if the United States is obviously ready to surrender, this does not mean that Ukraine will do it.
