As announced on October 2nd, Presearch is preparing to complete an automatic token swap that will see replacement Presearch tokens provided to PRE token holders.
We are currently waiting for the token security audit to be completed. We submitted the contract for review earlier this week and have been told to expect the test results on Monday, October 12th.
After a successful security audit is provided, we will need to conduct the airdrop to PRE wallets and notify the exchanges, wallet providers and information services of the new contract address. We are aiming to have all of this completed by October 16th, and will provide an update early next week after the audit is successful and we are preparing to deploy the contract.
We will keep you posted on our progress and plans as we are able to share more information. As a reminder, the new token will be automatically sent to wallets currently holding PRE tokens — no action will be required on your part. We continue to encourage you to wait on any token transfers until after the token swap is completed to ensure you remain eligible to receive the new replacement tokens.
We appreciate your patience and support as we conduct this significant upgrade to our token smart contract. In addition to mitigating the effects of the KuCoin security incident, the new contract will provide additional capabilities that will unlock significant value within the project.
