Many people look to the unifying, comfort bestowing right brain in an idolatrous fashion. They are foolish enough to derogate the left brain’s nitpicky, hard and fast milieu precisely because they find it so hard to liberate themselves from enslavement to it. But that’s not the left brain’s problem. It is merely a tool, which we can use skillfully, or not. An auto mechanic doesn’t resort to name calling against the toolbox just because its contents define the configurations that his consciousness must assume to complete his goals. The mechanic just picks up a wrench and uses it. When the usage is over, they dutifully return the wrench to its rightful place so that it can be found and used again as needed.
In other words, just like the mechanic, who doesn’t invest self-identity in toolbox contents, we need to retain our inherent identity while using our left-brain tool. Yes, ignorance has beset us, overwhelmingly, for a long, long time. Therefore, we tend to partake of that momentum and enslave ourselves to our outer, left-brain perceptions. That tendency can be broken with practice.
Do your best to mysteriously Self realize every moment. Owing to that super strong left-brain momentum, you will fail at that some large percentage of your timely cycles. The closer you get that percentage to zero, the closer you approach to the mastery you came to space-time to demonstrate as cascading instances of your Real estate.
Let me emphasize again: it’s important not to belittle the left brain. Without it, we would be idiots failing at navigating the fallen estate, which our karma requires us to perceive. The trick is to develop spiritually, to live in and as the One.
Change your mind to perceive difference as mandala, rather than separated warring factions. ALWAYS know: only the One IS. THAT includes left-brain perception. Treat all perception I AM THAT I AM as instances of the One's infinite mystery.
OM I AM.
