O heart, you come in search of youth,
but youth has gone beyond your sight;
Each soul that walks the road of life
must leave the darkness for the light.
Youth came to us like morning mist,
it touched our eyes, then slipped away;
We never knew its hurried wings
would steal the colors of the day.
I searched the world from side to side,
and found the footprints of the years;
In this endless marketplace of time,
no promise lasts, no vow endures.
Do not tie your heart to this world,
for all its beauty fades like dreams;
We are but guests beneath its roof,
and nothing stays the way it seems.
If autumn comes and leaves you bare,
do not declare that spring is gone;
Behind the darkest clouds of night,
the hidden road still leads to dawn.
Be like a mountain in this world,
when storms arise and skies turn gray;
Let thunder shake the earth below,
but never make your soul give way.
And if the rain of sorrow falls,
do not bow your head beneath its weight;
For even wounds that bleed the most
may open doors we thought were sealed by fate.
Whatever pain you learn from people,
though it burns deeply in your heart,
Do not become a soul of hatred;
let mercy be your stronger part.
If someone whom you loved has gone,
do not believe that all is lost;
Sometimes the ones who leave our lives
teach us the meaning of what they cost.
Give not your heart to every hand,
for not all smiles are born of love;
Some hands will hold you for a moment,
then let you fall like autumn leaves.
And if you truly love someone,
give kindness freely, then move on;
For love was never meant to be
a debt that must be counted on.
When midnight finds you tired of life,
and every door appears to close,
Look toward the heavens and remember:
God knows the pain nobody knows.
When all the roads of earth are closed,
His door remains forever wide;
When every hand lets go of yours,
His mercy never leaves your side.
Do not be frightened by your poverty,
nor by the voices of mankind;
A person's worth is never measured
by gold, by titles, or by pride.
If life has wounded you deeply,
fill your heart with God instead;
For when the world becomes a desert,
His love becomes the path ahead.
Hold tightly to the day you have,
for tomorrow bears no guarantee;
No soul is promised another dawn,
no one can bargain with eternity.
Youth has gone, and we remain
with distant memories in our hands;
What good is sorrow for the past
when time will never turn and stand?
For every wound that lives within you,
do not say, “This pain will never cease”;
Even the longest nights surrender,
and every storm will lose its peace.
And when you find yourself alone,
lift up your eyes into the sky;
Among the countless stars above,
God is not absent from your life.
If one day your weary heart asks,
“What remains for me in this world?”
Tell it, “While I still breathe, I hope;
my final dream has not yet died.”
Be like a mountain, strong and still,
when raging storms begin to rise;
The sea may roar with all its fury,
yet dawn is waiting in the skies.
Do not say, “My fate has failed me,”
or, “Luck has turned its face away”;
Perhaps the road you call a burden
is simply shaping you today.
Walk with your heart, walk with your love,
walk beneath the light of God;
For when a human leaves this earth,
only their footprints remain abroad.
O heart, if tomorrow brings the dawn,
be grateful that you see the sun;
For every breath is borrowed time,
and every life must someday run.
So if a hand reaches you with kindness,
do not be too quick to let it go;
Perhaps such hands will come but once,
and never pass your way again.
And when the final journey comes,
leave this world with a lighter soul;
For at the end of every road,
we carry neither wealth nor gold.
Take only love, and take your faith,
take every kindness you have shown;
For all the rest belongs to dust,
and every kingdom turns to stone.
So, O heart, though youth has passed,
do not surrender to the night;
The years may fade, the world may change—
but hope can still become your light.
And after every darkest night,
when silence seems to have no end,
remember this with all your heart:
The dawn is never truly absent—
it is only waiting to begin.
