In the weeks following our hectic election here in the United States, individuals tied to our President's campaign and legal team have been raising many claims of fraud in the electoral systems, going on TV or social media to rant about imagined votes being thrown away, or talking about ballots having been shipped out to communist countries where they changed his voters' ballots to Biden votes. Unfortunately for him, it seems he can't seem to conjure up any evidence. So far, these claims exist entirely in the magic realm between his ears, because when his lawyers are asked questions under perjury, they basically say nothing at all!
In a recent Pennsylvania federal case, Giuliani alleged “widespread, nationwide voter fraud” in his opening remarks. But under questioning from the judge, he retreated. “This is not a fraud case,” Giuliani later admitted. In the same case, Trump lawyer Linda Kearns said explicitly that she is “not proceeding” on allegations of fraud.

Now, after nearly 40 cases by Trump campaign having been thrown out by different courts - many presided over by judges Trump appointed - we have more fun news. William Barr, himself a corrupt and dangerous politician, has seen enough that even he decided to distance himself from the Trump election narrative.
"Disputing Trump, Barr says no widespread election fraud "Disputing President Donald Trump’s persistent, baseless claims, Attorney General William Barr declared Tuesday the U.S. Justice Department has uncovered no evidence of widespread voter fraud that could change the outcome of the 2020 election." Associated Press.
Barr issued a directive to U.S. attorneys allowing his department to investigate any substantial cases of voter fraud across the country. In doing this, Barr allowed prosecutors to walk around a long-standing policy to not interfere in the middle of election counting without some kind of proof of wrongdoing. This unprecedented move lead to a veteran federal information security officer to step down from his post.
Despite these moves by the AG, seen by some as posturing and by others as open election interference, they've come up empty. Barr and his associates are quickly approaching a point where their careers may be on the line, especially if they hitch themselves to a train going off the rails.
Attorney Sidney Powell has spun fictional tales of election systems flipping votes, German servers storing U.S. voting information and election software created in Venezuela “at the direction of Hugo Chavez,” – the late Venezuelan president who died in 2013. Powell has since been removed from the legal team after an interview she gave where she threatened to “blow up” Georgia with a “biblical” court filing.
Barr didn’t name Powell specifically but said: “There’s been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results. And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven’t seen anything to substantiate that.”
We have a new Russiagate conspiracy theory and this one is peddled by the outgoing Republican administration! How long do you think it will last?
