Thank you peach tree!
Been with me since high knee!
Now above me, growing so graciously!

Tried to enjoy your great giving’s.
The squirrel’s beat me to it!
Kind of like Martha Stewart, beat, appropriate jail time deserved. And knew it!

Would do the same, if was, an animal!
Enjoying bounty so tasty and beautiful!
Have enjoyed watching you grow!

As NOW withering away, still lovely!
A bite of delightful juiciness awaits!
Next season, gratefully
