First THEY came for gun owners
and I did not speak out
because I was not a gun owner
Then THEY came for the journalist
and I did not speak out
because I am not a journalist
Then THEY came for the protesters
and I did not speak out
because I was not a protester
Then THEY came for the peacemakers
and I did not speak out
because I was not a peacemaker
Then THEY came for me
and there was no one left
to speak out for me
