Introducing Sacro:
A Pillar of the Sovryn Community Sacro is a highly active and respected member of the Sovryn community, known for his significant contributions such as the creation of the community-driven initiative, the Circle of Tokens, and authoring the Sovryn Journal on Substack.
The Circle of Tokens
The Circle of Tokens initiative was created with the aim of analyzing and improving the tokenomics of the Sovryn protocol. Its objective is to help reduce token issuance and make the system more efficient and effective. Since the Circle of Tokens began publishing their research, it has led to the first community-driven SIPs (Sovryn Improvement Proposals) that resulted in significant reductions in SOV incentives for AMM pools and lending pools. As a result, the token price, which had been on a downward spiral, has stabilized and is now trending upwards once again. The value that the Circle of Tokens has added to the Sovryn ecosystem is immense and serves as a testament to the power and impact that the community can have on Sovryn. After all, working within a DAO offers the unique opportunity for the community to add value to the overall system.
The Sovryn Journal: A Valuable Resource for Understanding the Protocol and Token Metrics
Sacro’s Sovryn Journal is a regular publication that provides in-depth insights and analysis of the metrics underlying the Sovryn protocol and the SOV token. In the recently released 11th issue, Sacro celebrates Sovryn’s recent accomplishments, including the launch of DLLR, Zero open access, and the smooth functioning of the staking contract.
In this edition, Sacro discusses the resumption of weekly payouts to stakers and shares detailed data on AMM revenue and Zero revenue via subgraph. With the launch of Zero, the revenue skyrocketed, reaching 50k ZUSD within just one week. AMM fees for stakers remain at a healthy level, even without significant BTC moves in the past week.
Sacro also highlights the fact that voluntarily staked SOV has surpassed 7 million SOV, indicating that the revenue spike has created demand for staking SOV. He offers insights on staking APY, taking into account weekly revenue in sats/VP and SOV price at that week (standing above 10% apy) . It’s important to note that this analysis is not financial advice, and the actual yield may vary.
The Sovryn Journal serves as an excellent resource for anyone interested in understanding the workings of the Sovryn protocol and the SOV token. To stay informed and support Sacro, one of the greatest community members of Sovryn,
