Well, as you may have noticed, that is not necessarily always true, unless you also subscribe to the philosophy that,
"Time is money".
Time, as it happens, can be either more or less valuable than money, depending on how you choose to spend it. And, of course, depending on the going exchange rate for your time. I decided to take Halloween off of work because the going rate of trick-or-treating with my daughter for the first time is pretty much uncountable.
If you're like me, though, you've always been more or less addicted to some dumb mobile game, and the advent of digital currency gives a habit like that the potential to be slightly more profitable than a dime in a virtual Amazon gift card per hour, which is objectively good, I think, given that I, for one, would probably be wasting my time anyway.

I've only been playing for a few days and it's looking like I'll be able to cash out about half an EOS token, tiny fractions (or larger fractions) of which can then be staked in multiplayer matches for potentially more tokens (or less if you lose, I guess).
