Everyone has problems, right? Income is one thing, but not everything.

Imagine this:

Your parents are well-off.

They were brainwashed in ye olde days of American prosperity and civil unrest like the rest of them.

You made a modest living for yourself, but they have a lot more than you.

You understand that it was a privilege for you to get to this point and appreciate your parents for believing in that privilege.

You didn't strike oil in your modest endeavors and still can't afford to buy them a new house. They resent you a little bit.

You hate the fossil fuel industry, but rely on it to get to the factory and show them that you're not a fuck.

You aren't really a fuck, but your mad crypto skillz aren't going to prove that to their rich friends either, even if you stop hodling your gians.

You're not a bitcoin millionaire, so actually you are just a fuck.

Your 19 month-old daughter appears to like your parents more than you because they are retired and at home for most of the day.

You know too much about human psychology and thus worry about her development, especially when she has to watch that whole dynamic playing itself out.

You battle with the notion of a near-term future without her.

Your wife deserves someone better than you, but there is no one better than you.

You deserve to be happy more often, too.

Your parents clearly love the thought of having a lot of money (but of course still won't buy any cryptocurrency) more than they love you, and you don't really love them either.

You convince yourself that it's okay but aren't really sure about that.

You note that this sentiment has significantly more weight from your Jewish heritage.

You also note that Judaism is a religion and not a nationality, but nonetheless does appear to exhibit some genetic bases.

You should probably be looking for a new apartment right now, but you're a fuck.

At least your digital assets are going to be worth more in the future.

That's kind of irrelevant though.

Thanks, I needed that.

Geez, this is only the pre-midlife crisis?
