At least a drug addict has a reason to ask you for some of your money; the drug addict needs their drugs to function normally. Something like 80% of senior citizens need their drugs to function normally, too. Don't quote me on that number; I'm living in the USA so it's probably fake news. Heck, it could be more than 80%.
For the record, day trading isn't a worthy source of income, you know, unless you're making $250 a day or more from it... Until then, you have to be okay with driving half way to the city and back to make between a hundred and a hundred and a half instead (after the good guy government decides how to spend some of it for you).
[I reeeeally need to find a new place to live.]
Don't get me wrong -- taxation isn't a crime when you're being provided with fresh water and essentially pure energy to power your comfort devices -- but it is a crime when the water isn't fresh and the comfort devices are almost purposefully melting your body from the inside instead of making you comfortable.
That's what we want, though.
That Netflix subscription is only $10 a month. You get a lot of enjoyment out of that, right?
Come o~on, sit on the co~ouch.
Watch the news.
You know you want to watch the news.
I bet somebody died today.
You don't want to die, do you?
Here are some drugs to make you feel better.
You want to be happy, right?
Drink some Co~~oke.
We even make it without the ca~~alories so you won't get fa~at.
We promise.
...
Are you uncomfortable yet?
I don't really like gay people.
Are you uncomfortable now?
For the record, I don't really dislike gay people either; I was just trying to make you uncomfortable.
Oh, come on, I could just as easily have said black people.
Or European people?
I used to align myself strongly with the liberal side of the political spectrum, but things have changed a lot...
While I "knew" that Abraham Lincoln was aligned with the Republican party at the time of his election, now I understand how this can be possible because I have observed political ideals shift in the only 20-or-so years that I have been able to somewhat comprehend politics.
Eew, how did that lead to politics?
Sorry, here's some music to make you feel comfortable again:
For the record, I'm probably not judging you based on what you look like. I do judge people that act like fools, though.
My parents were watching Bill Maher earlier tonight (so you see where I'm coming from), and I wouldn't go out of my way to watch anything on pay-to-view television, myself, but I overheard him say something that got to me a little bit... it went kind of like, "The good old days were only good because you don't remember them."
Oof.
The grass is always greener on the other side, friends...
Make tomorrow great again.
Make today great, too, for that matter.

If you were wondering why the yinyang and bagua (those are the groups of three lines around the yinyang) is the cover photo for this blog entry, wonder no more!
I was joking to my friend about how we have no evidence that suggests 5G didn't exacerbate the lasting effects of COVID, when I actually came up with a good point: All light acts on the same two fields, those being electric and magnetic. That means the light from your computer screen, phone screen, overhead bulbs, street lights, the sun, the radio towers, the 3000 microwave hotspots in your general vicinity, the 200 satellites beaming at you from space, and the gamma/X waves that were already beaming down on you anyway are all kind of the same thing, just oscillating at a different frequency. Naturally, this MAY cause things to happen that you didn't expect to happen.
I'm glad I was joking about that, because somehow it led to noticing that the standard model of particle physics has the same dimensions as the dualities present in an ancient Chinese divination tool and form of alchemy. And, as if that isn't mind-blowing enough, the number of universal forces is the same as the number of bosons, which is also the same as the number of dualities (that's four, by the way). Whoa. If you consider the Higgs boson, then you must consider the electric and magnetic forces as being different, which actually kind of makes sense when you consider physical manifestations of the W and Z bosons, respectively. That being said, each fundamental force is not necessarily described by only one type of boson, and I haven't verified anything with math. Is this a sign that the theory is incomplete? Well, we know it is, but the fact that it is somewhat consistent with the musings of ancient philosophers is kind of cool. That's in the same way as how Plato ended up choosing the tetrahedron to be associated with fire, and, lo and behold, physical chemists discovered later that elemental phosphorus exists in the shape of tetrahedra!
Anyway, if you're still uncomfortable and that song above doesn't make you more comfortable, this one might be better:
