Today I wanted to share a game I didn't find a lot about on this platform: Genopets

What is Genopets:
Genopets is a bit similar as Pokemon Go and Tamagotchi, it requires you to move to make progress in the game, feed and play with your pet and make it feel loved by petting it. And while the game is still in Beta, and requires you to have an invitation code to be able to play, you can already make yourself a free Genopet, and level it up while you're doing your daily steps anyway. You can connect the app to fetch the data from Google fit or Apple health. 
At the end of every day, you need to 'bank' your steps, converting them to energy, locking them in for future use. All steps that you didn't bank before midnight are gone, so you need to remember to bank before you go to sleep ;)

The Genopet app in your phone is only one part of the game, the mainframe on the website is the web3 part, here you can connect your genopet to your wallet. The game is running on the Solana Blockchain, and I recommend to use Phantom Wallet for this if you don't have a Solana wallet already.

Move and earn? 
When you enter the code, you can create your own pet by answering a set of questions, with these answers your genopet is being created, so everyone's pet is one of a kind.
First, you need to focus on leveling your pet, the amount of energy you will get from your steps when you bank is depending on what level your pet is, a low level, you won't get much and your maximum amount of steps is capped, so it really takes some time, the higher you get, the more energy you will get with your daily steps. In my opinion, you first need to bring your pet to level 15 before thinking about the earning part (if you're interested in that of course)
To earn, you will need a habitat for your pet, where you can harvest your energy and convert it to KI. with a level 1 habitat you can harvest a maximum of 30 KI per day, a level 2 - 50 KI and a level 3 - 70 KI.
KI is trading for $0.02120 today.
You can buy your own habitat, prices are starting at $80-90 or you can join a guild and get a habitat delegated to you, sharing the profit, you can find more information about this in the genopet discord server.

So, for now, just focus on leveling and when your pet is higher level you can already earn a bit, while we wait for the final version to go live, which will include other things like player to player battles.
