During the past few months, Sky Mavis has officially changed Axie Infinity from a play to earn model to a play and earn one instead during the release of Axie Origins. This meant big things, especially for those gamers looking to earn rather than to have fun. Moreover, they have also decided to try to aim Axie Infinity to be more of a metaverse, just like the Sandbox.

You might say, "Well I can still earn in Axie Origins." While that statement is true, you will not be making nowhere near the amount you would have made in Axie Classic. Axie Origins only allow players up to a certain league in order to even earn 1 SLP per win. This practically forces players to begin playing for fun instead of SLP. Even if you manage to make it up higher in the leagues, you won't be able to earn much SLP and your best bet is with mAXS rewards from the leaderboard per season. 

With all these major changes to Axie Infinity, it is best to keep the mindset of playing the game casually and POTENTIALLY earning some SLP, not guaranteed. If you don't form this mindset and only care about earnings, then I don't think this project is catered to you.
