How convenient it is to have a room full of miners generating passive income for you while you sit back and watch your portfolio grow. Rollercoin paves the way for such a thing. In this post, we will introduce the game and provide tips for beginners and intermediate players.

Gameplay:

In Rollercoin, the main focus is on your room. The room should be filled with miners sitting on racks. There are two types of racks: racks that can hold 6 miners and racks that can hold 8 miners. Racks can provide bonus power to the miners placed in them. The first room can contain up to 12 racks, and as you unlock additional rooms, they can contain up to 18 racks.

Tip 1: Obtaining a 8-miner rack is much more effective than a 6-miner rack in the long run. Unless the 6-miner rack provides a high bonus power (5% or more), it will be useless when you fill your room with racks.

Miners:

There are three main characteristics that define each miner: Power, Bonus Power, and Rarity.

  • Power is directly added to your total mining power.
  • Bonus Power is computed on the power generated by the game and the power generated by all the miners (temporary power is excluded).
  • Rarity ranges from Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, to Unreal. The higher the rarity, the more power and bonus power a miner can provide.

Two identical miners of the same rarity can be merged to create a higher rarity miner using parts and some RTL (Rollercoin Token).

Tip 2: Don’t keep two miners of the same type and rarity, as their bonus power won’t stack.

Electricity:

Electricity needs to be turned on for the miners to generate power. To turn it on, simply click the button once every 24 hours. However, the electricity button cannot be pressed if there are more than 12 hours left. If you don’t want to log in every day, you can buy batteries, which will last for 4 days. Batteries are sometimes given for free while playing the games.

Games:

Playing games in RollerCoin is beneficial. They provide temporary power, items, RTL, and sometimes allow you to finish required daily tasks that need you to play specific games. They are also an excellent way to progress in most events.

Events:

The game has a main event and three alternating mini-events: Progression Event, Puzzle Event, and Burning Event.

  • Main Event:
The main event lasts for the entire season, which is about 90 days. To progress in the main event, you need to gain XP. XP is primarily earned from completing daily and weekly tasks.

  • Progression Event:
The Progression Event typically occurs once or twice a week for a 3-day period (this can change). During this event, you need to gather as many points as possible to earn better rewards. Usually advancing the difficulty in any game grants 500 points, spending RTL grants 1,000 points and crafting grants you 1,000 to 5,000 points.

Advancing the difficulty in any of the 14 games in RollerCoin requires you to finish a game three times. Each game takes less than a minute to complete. Rewards mainly include miners, racks, RTL, RST, XP, and temporary power.

Tip 3: If you play 3 games of the same mini-game at 9 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM, and advance in difficulty, only the game played at 9 AM will be removed at 9m (12 hours later). This means, if you played a game at 9PM, you don’t need to play 3 games to advance only one game will gets you the 500 points. Only one is enough! Hence, play smartly to maximize your points!

  • Puzzle Event:
The Puzzle Event usually occurs once a week for 3 days. In this event, you complete quests to earn rewards. After finishing 3-4 quests, you are rewarded with a good prize, usually a miner. The quests generally involve playing specific games, exchanging RTL, merging parts or miners, and opening RTL cases.

Tip 4: If you are into mining RTL, mine BNB or another cryptocurrency instead, and during the Puzzle Event, exchange the BNB for 3 RTL to complete one of the quests. If a 35% discount is active at that time, it’s a jackpot for you.

  • Burning Event:
The Burning Event occurs every few months. During this event, you can burn miners you don’t need or cannot fit in your room. Points are awarded based on the power and bonus power of the burned miners. Keep unused miners for this event.

Rewards:

Each cryptocurrency has its own Block Reward. Some currencies reward every 10 minutes, while others reward every hour. When you mine a coin, you receive a portion of the Block Reward, which depends on your total power compared to the entire network's power. Expect to have 5-7 dollars a month for every 100ph/s mining power.

Tip 5: Don’t switch between coins based on network power or cryptocurrency price fluctuations, as things will eventually stabilize. Mine the cryptocurrency that you believe will increase in value.
