Mini-games in Chainers.io became a great way to use our FRI and get good items to enhance our Farms. Currently there are two main mini-games: Chainer's Dreams and Roll'n'Snow . In this post, we will introduce Roll'n'Snow and provide some useful information to adopt your own strategy.
Game Concept:
The concept of Roll'n'Snow is simple: You place a bet on one of the five sectors, ranging from 35 meters to 300 meters, and watch to see if the snowball reaches your chosen sector. Each day, you'll receive a free roll, and subsequent rolls can cost as low as 10 FRI. The higher your bet and the further the distance, the better the reward. Additionally, your character's Style Points unlock better rewards. Even if your style points aren’t high, you can still earn Holly Seeds (the best seed for Biopoints per hour) from the game.

Understanding the probabilities and expected rewards for each sector can help inform your decisions and strategies. However, since the developers did not provide the community with the exact probabilities for each sector, we must rely on community trials. Special thanks to Yaz on Discord, who recorded the results of each trial and calculated the probability for each sector. I’ve found these probabilities to be very reliable, as they closely match my own experiences.
Probability and Reward Breakdown:
For the sake of simplicity, we will assume the following:
- Common Cloth = 5 FRI
- Legendary Cloth = 125 FRI
- Style Points unlock all rewards in the game.
The following table shows the breakdown of the prizes for runs that cost 10 FRI:
(Expected Return is calculated by multiplying the reward for each sector by its probability of success.)
Key Insights:
- Blue sector: It's only worth running for Blue if you simply want to get FRI out of your Free Roll and use them in different places.
- Green sector: The Green sector is attractive because the expected return is nearly equal to the cost of the run.
- Yellow sector: The Yellow sector offers a good amount of FRI relative to the chance of success.
- Orange sector: Running for Orange is worth if your goal is to obtain Common Holly Seeds.
- Red sector: The Red sector is a great option if you're aiming to earn Common Plots due to its high FRI payout and the chance of getting a plot.
Now, let’s estimate how many runs it takes to achieve the 300-meter prize in the Red sector with a 2.3% probability per run. The probability can be found based on this formula: P(success in x runs)=1−(1−p)^x
- For 30 runs, there's a 50% chance of winning it.
- For 60 runs, there's a 75% chance of winning it.
- For 90 runs, there's a 88% chance of winning it.
So, if you spend 300 FRI, you have a 50/50 chance of winning the final prize.
Spending 900 FRI almost guarantees that you will win the final prize at least once.
I’ve personally won the prize 4 times, averaging a win once every 300 FRI.
Note: For higher bets (50 FRI and 200 FRI), the number of runs remains the same, but the cost will be multiplied.
Conclusion
I hope this information helps you make the most out of Roll'n'Snow and Chainers.io. Don't miss out the free packs offering great prizes over the next 8 days, now is a great time to maximize your rewards. Happy holidays and good luck!
