...literally!

I love walking. Hiking. In the streets, mountains, forests, beaches, etc, if I can walk somewhere instead of driving, I will. But unfortunately, the more I walk the more I see human nature and despise human behaviour. I am of course talking about trash, that you can see everywhere and anywhere, whether it's on the sidewalk or in the middle of a forest, you will at one point or another encounter trash.

There's something I always keep in mind when I see this in nature:

When you walk past a piece of trash, it becomes your piece of trash.

So now, every time I go on a walk, I take a bag with me and pick up all the trash I encounter on my way, and I encourage everyone to do the same. It might feel like one small step for you, but it's a big deal for our planet.

As a videographer and photographer, I decided to document my findings and created an instagram account (@plastic.in.nature, see link below) dedicated to this cause. I photograph and post every piece of plastic that I find, and I always tag the company responsible for creating and selling it.

I am a strong believer that the plastic problem the world is facing today is not ours (the consumers) to solve, but it's the brands and companies' responsibility to stop producing and selling plastic. And if we stop buying it, they'll stop producing it.

I am just a man, trying to do what I believe is right. If we all do our part, no matter how small, we can save the Earth, one step at a time.
