Italy has been one of the first countries of the world to seen the biggest damage made by Covid19.

Actually Italy is among the leading countries for population / vaccinated ratio and absolute number of injectable doses in the European Union. According to the latest data provided by the Prime Minister, over 413 thousand doses have been administered throughout the country.

In Italy, in absolute terms, Lazio has the maximum number of doses administered (over 49 thousand), followed by Veneto with almost 45 thousand and Sicily with over 44 thousand.
323,405 healthcare workers were vaccinated, they follow the residents of residential structures with 22,968 vaccines received and non-healthcare personnel with 21,583 doses administered.
As of January 7, 41.9% of the 918,000 doses delivered in Italy have been already administered.
According to the last news the next group of people to receive vaccine will be composed by people older than 80 years and after this group people older than 65 years old.

There is a lot of public attention about the vaccination campaign due the high number of daily death and economic restrictions.
