Binance distributed 100 Trust Wallet Tokem (TWT) to eligible Binance users. You have to have completed any transaction (spot, future or margin) on Binance between 14-21 December, 2020 to receive the free Airdrop. If you are a regular user on Binance, like me, then go check your spot wallet. I am pleasantly surprised this morning as I was not aware of the ongoing promotion.

However, there is a catch (sort of). You need to claim and transfer your Trust wallet token to your Trust wallet using the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) by 5th January 2021. If not, the tokens will be reclaimed and no longer be used. Since I don't have a Trust wallet I am not sure if I need to download one or use my Metamask wallet that runs on BSC. May be the promotion was to increase the number of users who own and use Trust Wallet. Somebody posted on a private Telegram group that you also need few BNB on your Trust wallet to make the transaction go through. I am not sure if that's true.

Nothing is free. There are always baits.

I will definitely claim those 100 TWT. They are worth 15 USD at the moment. I am planning to send these tokens to Pancakewap. I can either swap them with BNB or stake them on the platform to earn "CAKE" - the native token. There are many options on how to use them once you move to the BSC network.

However, the demand is so high for these coins right now Binance has suspended the withdrawal of these tokens citing congestion issues. Hopefully, I can wait for a couple of days for others to withdraw their tokens.
