Sweatcoin 

Some of you may be familiar with the Swestcoin platform and their token. For those that aren't, basically you get rewarded with a token for tracking your steps. Some say it is a crypto but I would say that it technically isn't because there is no exchange that lists $SWC. Anywho, it still functions as a currency on their platform, so it does hold some sort of value.

This all was big around 3 years ago. That is when I first started using it. At the time, it had an ambitious design and mission, although I felt their platform was a little clunky and awkward. The UI is what really killed most of the app for me. But I think the developers had gotten some feedback and so they decided they were going to revamp the user experience. 

I returned to the app a few days ago to see a marvelous redesign. The concept of the platform is the same, but there is now an easy to navigate and understand app. Some of the rewards are still that same and include a lot of coupons or free trials that you can select for a certain amount of $SWC. 

I haven't seen any big ticket items that tickle my fancy yet. However, that won't stop me from still collecting the sweaty $SWC. This platform is also a great way to casually track your walking, as well as start challenges with friends to stay social and motivated! I personally don't have any friends on the app yet, but if it is similar to the FitBit platform, I can see it being a great feature!
