Fidelity 401(k)
I've had my 401k for about 3 years now. I've been getting a 6% match from my employer, so I figured I might as well get the free money.
Somewhere along the line I learned that I could actually choose investments, and then I even discovered that I could make different allocations. With this info, I picked some target date funds, an S&P 500 funds, and a Growth fund.
I am kicking myself for now licking up the growth fund sooner. It has performed so well over the last few years and I could have made a lot more money in my 401(k). I feel like a lot of investors say that though. But for me, I know that if I had seen a fund like this available when I first opened my 401(k), I would have selected it.
Just to show you what I am talking about, take a look at the snapshots. I know there are fees and what not, but dang this is a good return. Love the top holdings, too!
