I Dumped My Idle Cash Into Worthy Bonds

Cash Dump

I have had an escrow account with cash sitting in Fidelity. It earns me a few cents each month and I know I can get a way better return on it than that.

In steps Worthy Bonds. I've been a member of worth for almost 2 years. I've grown a decent portfolio with them but I never wanted all my eggs in that basket. However, I decided that with how well Worthy has performed as long as I have used them, that it was time to move a substantial sum over.

I set a transfer to but 250 bonds ($2500). This wi earn about $130 each year based on Worthy's 5% interest. So well over $10 a month for me. And of course, I will be adding to this portfolio throughout that time as well to increase the earnings even more.

I'm only going to pull the money I may or may not need at the end of the year to lay my escrow on my house. It's a necessary evil, but one that I have come up with an efficient way to manage it.
