It's time for me to finally touch on something crypto related, I think. I don't usually push crypto much because I'm not too smart and don't understand it, but if there is something I understand, it's the concept of free/rewards!
The Pei app is a platform that rewards users with points that can be used to cash out in the form of USD or BTC. It is a platform to build brand loyalty and rewards you for your purchases at certain vendors.
The concept is simple and it isn't new, but by allowing users to cash out in either USD or BTC is what makes Pei really unique. The withdrawal minimum is fairly low and easy to hit so you won't have your money stuck on some random platform for years.
The process for being rewarded is easy, too! Pei uses Plaid (a secure 3rd party financial tool) to link bank/financial information to Pei. From there, your credit or debit card transactions are recorded and you are rewarded based on if the purchase was made at one of the selected vendors on the Pei network.
Overall, I have earned roughly $250 in rewards during my year with Pei. I have engaged them a lot on social media and I even got a free Pei T shirt sent to me for being such an early and engaging user.
They have a very active social media presence and their Twitter account is up to date on the latest Twitter memes and combines them with BTC lingo to help break barriers that may have been in place.
There are other tools built into the app that can help you are where you are spending money, where you shop most often, and how much you earn on average from each vendor.
Oh, and another cool thing is that this can be stacked on top of most other rewards you may be earning from other services. I double dip a lot with Pei and other apps to help maximize my micro returns. A little bit of something is better than nothing!
