BlockFi - November Earnings Report

BlockFi

It has been a minute since I have talked anything crypto related. So I figured that it would be a nice change of pace to add a little update about my current crypto portfolio.

Ive been using BlockFi consistently since March and I have been contributing regularly. It used to be quite a task and very inefficient to send funds to BlockFi. Since the time I have been with them, it has become quite easy to get funds to their platform without incurring fees. My favorite way is to ACH funds directly from a checking account. It may take a few days for funds to settle, but once it dies you will have that ammount in $GUSD (oh, and that earns 8.6% while it's sitting in your account before you decide what you want to do with it).

My strategy for this account has remained the same and my sourcing has pretty much stayed the same. All my $BTC has been earned on rewards programs, won in giveaways, or earned through referral bonuses. I haven't gone out of my way to purchase bitcoin in quite a few months. So right now it is acting passively. The next part of my strategy is growing my $ETH position. I use a service called RoundlyX to automate the purchase of $ETH via Coinbase or Voyager. From there I will send that $ETH to BlockFi. I also earn small amounts from Publish0x, but that isn't too sizeable yet. The last part of the strategy is a steady flow of stablecoins coming in. Now that ACH is an option, I buy $25 of $GUSD as soon as the previous ACH has cleared. This means that maybe twice a week I will be putting money in this account.

The interest rate may change in the future, but these are the given rates for November that were used. Bitcoin @ 6%, Ethereum @ 5.25%, and $GUSD @ 8.6%. These are very generous rates and I hope to see them continue for a long time!

Of course, I know all crypto projects hold risk and if I was afraid of losing everything I would not be holding funds in this account. The reward is worth the risk right now for me so I will continue to grow this account and keep you guys updated along the way.

But, to today's purpose of this post, I wanted to show you guys where my account is standing right now and what my month looked like for November. So without further rambling here are the screenshots.
