Yes, SB Fuller started to work at the age of five & started driving mules at the age of nine. There is nothing unusual most of children work with family in the tenat farmer.
SB Fuller was burn in a Negro tenat farmer in Lousiana as one of seven childrens.
Young Fuller was different from his friends because of his mother. His mother used to say that "We are poor not because of God, we are poor because your father never developed a desire to become rich. And no one in our family has ever developed a desire to be anything else."
SB Fuller frequently remain in his mind "No one in our family has ever developed a desire to be anything else." Why not begin to want to be rich. He began to want to be rich & become so deeply ingrained mind must be wealthy in my life. Thus he developed a Burning Desire to become rich.
He search quickest way to make money. At last started selling soaps door to door. Fuller sold soap for twelve years, during thses years he learned many things about marketing and others.
One day he became to know that which supplied soap him was going to be sold at auction. The company price was $150,000. In twelve year selling soap he hardly save only $25000. Fuller deposited his $25,000 and obtain the balance of $125,000 within ten days period and written contracts peppered with conditions if he did not raise the money he would lose his deposited.
On the eve of the tenth day, he had raised $115,000 he was $10,000 short. He had exhausted every source of credit he know. It was eleven o'clock at night when Fuller drove down Chicago's 61st street. At last after several block he saw a light in a contractor's office. He walked in and seated at his dask and starting talk and he gave to his alk the name of the other people who had lant him money and explained in detailed exactly what the business venture was. The contractor ready to land him in the conditions is Fuller bring back money with another $1,000 profit. Then make out a cheque for $10,000.
