Sage will have his assessment by March regarding his speech and brain training. At first, I was a bit hesitant to put my baby into such an ordeal knowing that at 21 months old, his "hyperanger" attitude won't take him even 5 minutes to sit down. He loved to roam around here and everywhere chasing Baboo all the time, apart from messing up with me while working. I felt time flew so fast that I just breastfed him and now he's sort of independent.

He can't sit down. He's always on the go! So I have to be strategic.
I started with Coco Melon's, The Hare and the Tortoise nursery song as Sage loves "totchie" apart from teet teet (bird). Lo and behold, his persistence to show me his friend totchie gave me a bit of 85% confidence that he can identify some animals and its sound. One of the few animals that my baby fondly visited everyday were "tortues/ tortoises" as we have 5 of them at our minizoo! His uncle Mike told him the French/Creole name, I was amused as he exactly said the way he's been told. Pretty much like a sponge!
Likewise early morning, I told him to point out some of the images he's familiar with and I'm happy he could identify those words like car, key, duck (although he would say "ga"). So in his room where posters of First Words, Identifying Time, Solar System, and Animal ABC, the habit of saying the words over and over again made him more keen on them. What was exciting when I told him to point out the "key" he also mimicked.
Also before bedtime before he would doze off, we would have the "Johnny Johnny"epic song and this got me crackin as he would reply...(listen until 0:28)
I know we both have around 2 months to study and I am happy that my baby's interest in learning through my guidance is also improving. I just don't want to force him to learn something just so because the nurse told him so but because of his FREE WILL and most of all he enjoyed the process so he would remember that learning is indeed fun and not burdensome.
