In this series of posts, I want to mention about my Pi Network adventure.
Pi Network is an as-yet-unreleased cryptocurrency that allows users to mine cryptocurrencies on their phones. All you have to do is open the app and click a button to start mining session every 24 hours. If you don't have an account yet you can create an account following below link:
So these are my experiences with Pi Network until today:
- I became a member at the end of 2019 and started 952 mining sessions until today.
- Just because I didn't have much expectations, I didn't invite any person as my referral. I only have 1 person (who invited me) in my team and I even didn't create security circle for a long time. (But when I discovered it doesn't need much effort and only with little effort my mining rate doubled I became regretful. I feel that I can experience same remorse just because I didn't invite anyone to network if PI will get high valuation.)
- As a result I have around 6.100 Pi and 3.600 of it is my own mining. (2.500 of it is from security circle and will be transferable when they had KYC)
- I created my wallet and had my KYC confirmed about 1 month ago.
- I became a KYC validator and had confirmed 401 applications. (401 in 418, 96% accuracy rate, btw I am sure I wasn't faulty in those 17 applications either) KYC Validators will earn extra Pi on their accurate validations, but amount is still not known.
- Amount of my own mining 3.600~ Pi was transferred to my mainnet wallet on 29th of June. (They will be unlocked on 13rd of July.)
- But since I locked 90% of my Pi for 3 years, only 360 of the total amount will be usable on enclosed mainnet process.
So these are the things I have done until today and just in 2 days we will start to see first signs about Pi Network's success. It's quite exciting to wait at this point. Hope it will be a successful project!
I'll continue on this almanac as project proceeds. Let's see in 5 years, tapping a button on mobile every day made me rich or not :D
