Parjar tipping guide

A TIPPING BOT CALLED "PARJAR"

Parjar has been created by the Parachute community.
If you enjoy good vibes, nice values, sharing and learning, you should definitely have a look at the Parachute project ;)

Parjar is some kind of off-chain wallet to send tokens to other people, via Telegram.
Every user has it's own parjar wallet (linked to the Telegram ID) where he can store some tokens. Everyone can tip tokens (i.e. send tokens) or be tipped (i.e. receive tokens) answering posts on Telegram chats.
It is used for "pocket money", not for big amount of tokens.

You can find Parjar bot installed in different Telegram community, and it works the same way everywhere.
Currently about 15 tokens are listed in it, but more will come soon.

TIPPING IS A WAY TO REWARD SOMEONE'S BEHAVIOUR

There is no rule in tipping: anyone can tip anyone else whenever he/she wants, as long as he/she has tokens to tip.

Most of the time people get tipped for helping someone, sharing valuable information, or bringing fun in the community.
But you are free to tip your own way :)

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Tipping someone is quite easy.

1. You need to reply to someone’s post
2. You start your reply with the following instructions: /tip [amount] [ticker]
3. You can add a comment after the instructions if you want to.

Examples:
/tip 50 PAR => will tip 50 Parachute tokens
/tip 10 BNTY haha, great! => will tip 10 bounty0x tokens and comment
/tip 0.5 ETH => will tip 0.5 ethereum
/tip 50 => will NOT work, you need to add the token you want to tip
/tip haha 50 PAR => will NOT work, the comment should be done after
/tip => will NOT work either I guess you know why ;)

As you can see, PAR is not the only token you can tip.

Other tokens have already been added on Parjar, and you can technically use any of them if you want.

Tipping is then really easy.

You will get an instant confirmation of your tip with a message of the Parjar bot

OF COURSE, THE TOKENS ARE NOT CREATED FROM NOWHERE.

You need to have them on your Parjar wallet.
You cannot tip if you don’t have tokens in your Parjar wallet.
I repeat: you can NOT tip if you don’t have tokens in your Parjar wallet.

To see your wallet, just go on the Parjar bot: @parjar_bot

Press start…

And then you can click on ‘Check Balances’

Maybe no-one tipped you yet?
You should then have an empty wallet.

HOW TO GET TOKENS?

1 - You can wait for someone to tip you, helping the community and getting rewarded for that.

When you get your first tip it will then appear on your wallet :)

2 - If you don’t want to wait or want to tip a lot, you can send some tokens of yours to the Parjar wallet.
Just click on ‘deposit’ and follow the instructions to verify your ERC20 wallet adress and deposit the tokens.

Accept the conditions. Don't forget Parjar is for Pocket money. Even if it is highly secured, only put small amounts on it!

Let's say Ethereum...

Input the ETH addresse that will be used to send tokens to the Parjar wallet.

Copy/Paste the deposit address of Parjar and send your tokens there.
The first time you send, you have 1 hour to do it. That way you will validate your address.
The next times you won't be asked that again.

After a few minutes (like 10 confirmations), Parjar will display a confirmation message.

Let's click on "Check balance" to check...

Tadaaaa !
Money is there :)

HOW TO WITHDRAW TOKENS?

If you want to withdraw the tokens from your Parjar wallet to your ERC20 personal wallet, you can do it whenever you want.
Keep in mind that you will need to have deposited some ETH first in order to pay the (very small) transaction fees.

Just click ‘withdraw’.
