Heyo folks! It’s been quite some time since I wrote a weekly update and am really backed up with pending ones. So here goes one as I start to catch up. Your week at Parachute + partners (29 Nov - 5 Dec'19):
The PAR4PAR lottery entered stage eight this week with the total pot notched up to 400k $PAR. Whoa! In this week's creative prompt (#creativity) by Jason, folks drew the admin crew in Christmas scenes. 10k $PAR for the winners. Nice! Chris announced the winners of the Parachute Thanksgiving FamDuel which was launched last week. But first, an honor roll for the "Face down" "A$$ up" participants (Thanks Nathan and Hang for that piece of literature. Lol). Jason, Cap and Tony came in last (in that order). Props to Tony's lil' one for beating Cap fair and square. Haha. Congratulations to Jibola, Ganteng and ShaQ for topping the charts. That is 100k $PAR in prizes given away. Saweet! Doc Vic (from Cuba) hosted a medical trivia (on Gynecology and Obstetrics) in TTR for a 25k $PAR pot. Cool! Kim's Zany Zebra won this week's Parena to take home 25k $PAR from the 50k $PAR pot.

Andy’s Advent Calendar goes off to an epic start
Jason launched the Parachute Running Club this week to get Parachuters across the globe into shape. Everyone is welcome to join. There will be monthly run challenges and every confirmed mile will win $PAR rewards. Thank you James (@JJD1000) for the friggin’ awesome idea! This week's Two-for-Tuesday by Gian was themed on vowels. "Post any two videos from bands or artists whose name starts with A, E, I, O, or U". GC also permitted W and Y coz why not! Haha. Like clockwork, Charlotte hosted her Math trivia in TTR for 25k $PAR in prizes. Woot! Next week, we will be having a townhall with Cap and Ice to get feedback from Parachuters on what we are doing right and what could be better. Cap will also be sharing sneak peeks on what’s coming up in Parachuteland. Cheers to Kamo and DogGodFrogLog for their quick gun Dean Winchester replies and winning a boatload of $PAR in return. This week we welcomed Jobchain’s $JOB token as the latest asset to be listed on ParJar.

Bounty0x’s December product update was released on Republic. If you’re in two minds regarding how the XIO Liquidity Pool on Uniswap will work, make sure to watch Chris Blec’s video on the subject. $BOMB token is now tradable and playable on gaming platform Play Royal. This week's Discussions with Dash episodes revolve around a Tim Ferris podcast on choosing startups for funding and initial liquidity offering. Have a read of this tweet thread if you want to find out what an incubated startup in the XIO ecosystem gets. Here’s an early mockup of what the XIO portal could look like. The crew also took inputs from Citizens on how to improve operations in the XIO Foundation. A Uniswap tracking bot went live in TG. Etherscan also started recognising XIO as a Crowdfunding platform. The first couple of Around The Block episodes were aired this week featuring the first 2 startups in the XIO Incubator: Uptrennd and Opacity. $XIO got listed on CoinMarketCap. Yay! Birdchain will be setting up its own blog soon. The new Voyager token ($VGX; formerly $ETHOS) whitepaper was released this week. As the SelfKey crew continues to work on the platform, it regularly churns out crucial guidelines to stay one step ahead of hackers. This week, they discussed about social engineering hacks. Also, read up on federated identity management (FIM) and how it is different from single sign-on (SSO). $KEY was listed on Estonian exchange ExMarkets with $BTC and $ETH as trading pairs this week. Uptrennd’s 24 Days of Celebrations in December kicked off with a Meme Contest on Day 1, Sticker Contest on Day 2, Banner Contest on Day 3, BTC Price Prediction Contest on Day 4 and Crypto Trivia on Day 5. With 42k+ users, the platform has been growing from strength to strength. Uptrennd announced a partnership with Istanbul Blockchain Week to spread the word on crypto/blockchain in Turkey. Constellation entered into a partnership with Quant to allow interoperability of big data between disparate systems. To celebrate the occasion they hosted a giveaway contest. News of the partnership was covered by The Daily Chain as well. Here’s a community-made video that explains details of the tie-up and how the two technologies will work together. Nik Patel’s Christmas Altcoin Wishlist was released. And $DAG made it to the list. Noice! Catch up on the latest updates of the Yazom App from the November report. Shuffle Monster is a largely volunteer-driven project and admin Trooper George made a cool community raffle if you hadn’t noticed it yet. This week’s raffle pot crossed 10k $SHUF. Whoa!
