Coronavirus research in China had been regularly funded by several international funding sources including US government agencies as well as corporations.
Earlier I published an article pointing out towards a 2018 PLOS One journal research paper that disclosed that Google had funded virus research of the Wuhan Lab in the 2010s.

Google funded Coronavirus research in 2018
The research paper available in PLOS One shows the details. The abstract of the research paper clearly mentions that the virus got “pandemic potential.”
Google had directly funded several rounds of research and papers relating to Coronavirus in China, including one that can be read clearly in the abstract: “in Guangdong, China, to characterize behaviors and perceptions associated with transmission of pathogens with pandemic potential.”

There is no doubt that Google directly funded the referred research. There is a specific mention of the funding agency in the published research paper in the reputed research journal PLOS One.

Bringing it altogether
The present and the ongoing crisis caused by the new virus signature called COVID-19 is a complex narrative game. There are several players - the mainstream news media, big techs, big pharma, social media giants, and the governments around the globe.
The truth about the pandemic is slowly getting revealed by the alternative and smaller news media.
If we have to get the true news, we must look at both mainstream and alternative news media.
We also need to cross-check the authenticity of the news by verifying through personally acquainted people around the world.
The remaining truth will be unfurled sooner or later.
