I have no idea if this blog will be something I stick with as my focus and attention is really quite poor at times, but I certianly hope I keep up to date with it. The intention is to post about using cannabis to try and help me with my Fibromyalgia pain, my anxiety, my depression and poor sleep quality. I don't expect miracles of course.
I am trying cannabis as CBD hasn't offered too much relief really, though I may go back to that at some stage in stronger doses. I am not a smoker so this could be very interesting in terms of how I handle and get used to the cannabis. To make this transition easier I will be using a dry-herb vaporizer for the cannabis.
This offers a few advantages for me, the device is very discreet (this is important) and looks like any regular small vaping device. The cannabis goes inside a little ceramic chamber, this then heats up and vaporises the liquid inside the cannabis, letting you vape the THC etc. instead. You are actually not burning it like in a bong or joint, so there is no smoke, tar or burning smell to have to hide, just vapor like normal vaping. This is important for me as being discreet with it is really a priority. I expect it to still smell like weed smells, but less so than when burning it, this should keep my clothes and hands etc from smelling.
The device I bought was a cheap Herbva 5G by Airistech (30 GBP), as it seems to fit my current needs. Spending more could potentially be wasted money if I don't enjoy the cannabis, so this gives me a chance to step-up in quality etc should I need to down the line. I have acquired some product to have my first go on it tonight. I will post about that......
