Van Life on Dagobah

Van Life on Dagobah

By Nathan Payne | pablosmoglives | 1 Jun 2025

"The purpose of our Christian training is to get us into the right
relationship to the 'needs' of God and His will.  Once God's
'needs' in us have been met, He will open the way for us
to accomplish His will, meeting His 'needs' elsewhere."
Oswald Chambers

I landed on the surface,

Neurotical, and

Nervous,

A spongy planet made of brains

Of,

An unstable Bible study

Buddy

In desperate need of healing,

And of Love

Nothing

Shallow/touchy

Feely,

But rather the kind of love

That inspires you

To start an Old West Outer

Space band, in San

Diego/Santa

Fe,

"Saint Faith"

The town is called in Spanish; my

Telecaster has been

Banished

To the outer darkness

Pawn shop

"You don't own a Telecaster,"

Quoth the legalistic

Ravens,

Distributors of breakfast who

Rearrange my birdhouse

Into the semblance of

A feathered

Courtroom;

Karaoke magpies forwhom

Nothing is impossible

The faith required to be awake is

Radical,

And cannot be acquired

From amongk the drunken

Peacocks

Distilling virtue from their feathers, leather

Boots and whiskey raining

From the brimstones

Of their hats;

Nevertrust

Anyone

Who lets their mice

Defeat their

Cats

So here we are on Dagobah,

Exiled from the

Dungeon

Van life in a jar of pomade

The cantina makes me tired

I don't need to be

Inspired
