I had to reload the cannon of saints today.  The cannon of saints is the weapon of choice for many recovering love addicts.  The only candidates for cannon-ization were The Virgin Marilyn and Pablo The Ridiculous.

I went with Pablo The Ridiculous.

Pablo The Ridiculous, or "St." Pablo, as he is now ridiculously known, once appeared to 10 or 20 people at a bar in Austin, because he was playing there.  Nobody noticed that a Pablonian apparition pretending to be a musical performer took the stage.  Pablo The Ridiculous informed the audience that he was next in line in the cannon for streethood.  "I'm a street, I'm your favorite crazy uncle," he declared.

Congratulations, Street Pablo.  Your time has come.

After the show, Pablo The Ridiculous went out for some sushi and In Vino Veritas with Bettie Page and Marilyn Monroe, both of whom are VINOS.  Virgins in name only, the VINOS drank the vino and wandered through the streets of the song with Pablo The Ridiculous, until they realized he was broke.

The rest is cannon history.  Or will be.
