No Tengas Miedo

New T-shirt design, for those who feel little-to-no actual affinity with the victim-trip practitioners of SMUG LIFE all around them.  It makes sense to feel disenfranchised in the United States today, if you have brains, soul, and some artistic ability (though the latter isn't necessary)(the first 2 are essential).  If you don't feel disenfranchised, I question your discernment; at best, it has been fatally compromised.  Out of fear, no doubt.  Out of being accustomed to a certain S.O.L. (standard of living), which has perhaps softened you.  Fair enough.  But what if your countrymen are sanctimonious, moronic cowards on a victim trip who think Kanye West is a genius?  What if the smug bitches who rule you don't have the brains or guts to admit that indulging in every appetite the instant it occurs to them is the opposite of strength, and that strength comes through resistance, not indulgence?

Maybe their clear-and-present weakness bores you out of your mind.  Maybe it bores you out of your native tongue.  Maybe this boredom and disenfranchisement is a blessing in disguise, because it drives you out of the tired, secondhand power of the world and into the presence of the excellence of God, the excellence of true freedom, the excellence of repentance and forgiveness, into a search for purity, holiness, and truth of which this world is a rotten, smeared reflection in a shiny wet rock at best.  Maybe the world has proven to be so worthless and unworthy of belief that, while never truly being suicidal, you're not entirely against taking the one-way A-train to the glowing blue hermanosphere.  Maybe you're figuring out how to apply for a temporary-residence visa, so you can die, maybe even live, among people who are actually friendly & grateful, people who risk their lives climbing fences patrolled by border patrol agents and cartel members to have a better life, while angry, boring people bitch in their 4-dollar coffee about problems they're too accustomed to sleeping indoors and "having fun with their friends" or buying things they like (or whatever it is they do), to see are completely nonexistent.

I know I am.  The ingratitude and apparent ease with which they seem willing to throw away their blessings, individual rights, and due process are a great insult to everyone who has ever climbed an international border for a better life, or slept in a van for decades trying to get the attention of stuffed animals who treat your work like a disposable cocktail napkin (myself being one among many).  People who apparently think that lipservice is enough, inadvertently proving the worthlessness of good intentions, and the unsustainability of their own untested-by-them-yet-unassailably-righteous economic models, in which they think they'll finally "be free" of the oppression of the "white man," when the freedom of the burden of earning their own living (or is it the burden of the freedom?) has been removed from them at last.

Or whatever monumental nonsense goes for an acceptable public narrative these days.  Cuz I'll tellya, the tip-jar model of total economic dependence, of absolute, continual dependence on the good will (and parking laws) of others, people who may or may not care about anything other than the religious devotion to the false god in their pants or veins is.... not empowering at all.

Anyway, enjoy your little power-trip, the paradoxical virtues of your dumpster fire, your hateful false empowerment such as it is.  The day will come, and is not so very far away, that you will hate yourself for all eternity, for not getting off it sooner.

"It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise,
than for a man to hear the song of fools."
Ecclesiastes 7:5

If you're receiving this, it's because I have some faith in you, and am not of the opinion that I'm talking DOWN to anybody.  Those people are no longer on this list, for this reason:

"Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee:
rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee."
Proverbs 9:8

Of course I could be wrong.  Well if you're one of them, you wouldn't be the first.

And finally, the T-shirt, which I made so I can order one for myself:

"Have not I commanded thee?  Be strong and of a good courage;
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord
thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Joshua 1:9

Don't be afraid,
