Lost in the Fire

By Nathan Payne | pablosmoglives | 5 Aug 2025

Disturbing.  Like looking through an old photo album that was lost in the fire, or opening a time capsule on an eternity in hell.  I remember everything, recognize nothing.  But a harrowing, exquisite nightmare it apparently has been.  Thank God, you can never go back.

Thanks to Jack in California for buying.

Excerpt from the description of the video below:

"Soap Dick/I'm a Rat" was written in Los Angeles at the end of 2002.  The "I'm a Rat" part refers to the scavenger lifestyle to which I'd become accustomed, but was perceived by certain criminal friends of mine to mean that I was a snitch.  This misunderstanding kept me out of a certain amount of trouble, I have no doubt.

Thanks for listening.  Peruse the discography at your leisure, but don't hesitate to buy something immediately.
