How Great Thou Art

How Great Thou Art

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it."
Matthew 13:44-46

When you're standing at the gates, and it cannot be denied that you may very well be about to lose it all, throw yourself at the foot of the cross.  Get on your knees and plead.  Supplicate yourself to the God of Heaven, who is in control, and who has the power to redeem you.  Not only your circumstance, but your soul.

I just went through it again.  The mercy of God is great.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank God in Heaven for saving my soul, and for choosing to have mercy on my circumstance.  He did not have to, but He did.  The forgiveness of sin through the blood of His son Jesus Christ is truly the pearl of great price.  His mercy is great.  I am celebrating the return to the joy of my salvation by posting 3 songs from my gospel album, Everything I Have Is Yours.  These songs are not in the public domain, and so have only been available via private donation and download code on Bandcamp.  Which is to say, they have been floating in outer space for years, and have been heard by almost no one.  A fact which I am only stating for the record; like the greatest hits albums, Everything I Have Is Yours was actually available as a free download, when I was still active on Bandcamp.  I abandoned that moldy, ivory-tower basement when they started donating their share of the proceeds on certain days to woke, self-righteous political causes.  Antifa/BLM, and the like.  I wasn't making any money from them anyway, but I put all the albums into hidden, private mode on the chance that somebody decided to buy something on one of their unholy anti-holidays.  "Juneteeth," I think, was the day.  Or one of the days.  Nobody who takes that nonsense seriously is entitled to being taken seriously by any truly independent artists, and nobody who directly donates a nano-centavo to my cause is going to give material support to a Marxist terror group because there is no alternative to the thrift store consignment shelf upon which all musicians are expected to obsequiously supplicate themselves (Bandcamp).  Even if there are other highly-centralized, hyper-corporate alternatives.  But the topic is a tangent, and even if it takes up the majority of the pixel-space in this article, the glory of God and my joy and gratitude to Him for His forgiveness outshine it exponentially.

Praise be to God the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who truly is worthy to be praised.

What a relief.  Joy is real.

Amazing.
