Well, it's confirmed. First actual show in almost 6 years. If you're in the DFW area, I'm playing at the House of Stone in Weatherford on Sunday. It's at some guy's house, presumably of stone. He films the performances. It's a house show, but people know about it. Apparently, it's a thing.
So it's official. Six years of burrowing through the clouds like a subterranean animal with wings have culminated in me being cleared for landing in Fort Worth. I didn't know I was going to be here until a couple days ago. There was a rich guy in Austin who threatened to let me stay at his apartment, but he withdrew the offer. Austin isn't friendly, but if I had a place to stay, I would have found the cool people. They exist. Here are 2 of them, sitting outside the downtown Section 8 house, waiting for the UPS guy.

I love those guys, but I have to say, the vibe is much better up here. Fortunately, I don't have to hit the ground cold. Denver Williams lives here, and since he's by far the hardest-working musician I have ever met, it won't be long before I'm busy. But I need your help.
Which isn't strictly accurate. Most people aren't aware that the Bible is actually an oxygen tank, through which it is possible to breathe both in outer space and underwater. I have lived on Luke 10:19 while staying in places infested with scorpions, and I am living on Philippians 4:19 right now. So it isn't really you I'm asking. But if God puts it on your heart to donate before the flood of busy-ness gets me back on the hamster wheel, the endless cycle of gigs which me and Denver will be retrofitting with high-performance engine parts so that we might achieve escape velocity from any boa constrictors coiled in the local hipster singularity who would work to keep us down,
My gratitude and appreciation would be hard to overstate.
Thank you in advance. Hope to see you at the show.
God bless.
