"Le Ravissement de Frank N. Stein" is a short film made by Georges Schwizgebel in 1982.  It depicts the point of view of a monster moving through an alienating series of rooms towards an unknown goal, before finally falling in love with a crazy person.  "Death Inside of Life" is from my 2014 album Is It For Real?  It depicts the point of view of a monster moving through an alienating series of rooms toward an unknown goal, before finally falling in love with a crazy person.

Burning with desire
my heart is on fire
and my fists are tightly clenched
against a fire that can't be quenched

I don't know what you're used to,

but I am used to war
I've seen it all before
I don't want it anymore

The law of false attraction
dictates it is pointless to begin
and it's a waste of time,
of course,

but someone always ends up dead

The only words that express the way I feel
do not exist
loosen the shackles on my wrist

The magnets in my heart

to the death inside of life
which is another way of saying,
"love"
