Buying The Doom Loop

By Nathan Payne | pablosmoglives | 26 May 2025

"Armageddon is not a battle.  It is silence
when we are all gone."
Sam Vaknin

I did an image search for "sucker's rally," and a picture of an astronaut crawling on the moon was among the results.  The astronaut is clearly in distress, and has a torn Bitcoin patch on his sleeve.  I edited it so that the so-called "peace sign" replaced the Bitcoin logo, and turned it into an alternate cover for The Bible.  I wondered what The Bible might be called if God had written it from the perspective of a 21st Century financial analyst, and decided on Buying The Doom Loop: How To Survive a Misplaced Belief in the World, by Jesus Christ.  Because if there's anything the world is clearly on, it's a doom loop.  To believe otherwise is to tear holes of naivete in your spacesuit, until you suffocate to death in a suit emblazoned with pagan iconography, on a hostile, unforgiven world.

We are currently embroiled in one of the greatest sucker's rallies in history.  Have been since at least the 1960s.  Probably since the era of Marx & Darwin.  Maybe the Enlightenment, or even earlier.  While the message of Christ isn't nihilistic, neither is it denialistic.  To believe in the inherent goodness of man is to deny the fundamental reality of sin.  While it is of course true that people can do good things, we can't change the fabric of our being by shoving it in the closet.  What we have today is a society full of CLOSETED SINNERS.  The result of this is the nauseating paradox of the moralizing libertine, the person who believes there are no moral laws or sin, but that he or she has the right to dictate the terms and conditions of other people's lives.  They are walking billboards of death and judgment who have an unquestioned, default "belief" that their denial makes them free.

Which, it either does,

Or it does not.

Regardless of what anyone "believes."

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon them,
as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape.”
1 Thessalonians 5:3

Is Trump going to save the United States from collapse, or even judgment?  Or are we in a cultural dead cat bounce, a period of counter-revolutionary anti-wokeness that has the appearance of a cultural resurgence, but which may only be a kind of test (our last?), one that tempts the undiscerning, secular soul to sleep before the doom loop sucks us in for good?

These 2 videos indicate a trend toward greater enslavement, in spite of the sucker's rally going on in society today.  A bunch of people living in boats near San Francisco are being slowly pushed out by the million-dollar enclaves of spiritual barnacles on the coast, and even the nomadic American road life is under attack.  Of course it is.  Being aware of (as opposed to merely "believing in") the doom loop isn't a self-fulfilling prophecy.

It's just prophecy.

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that
had the mark, or the name of the beast,
or the number of his name.”
Revelation 13:17

The people in the 1960s were wrong.  You can give the power to the people, but eventually Satan will use those people to take power, freedom, and life from everybody else.  Which is why the JFK-era Constitutional liberal from the 1960s turned into the kind of milquetoast social-justice bobblehead we see today.  They were on a doom loop, like everybody else.  The Boomers are the richest generation of serfs the world will ever know.  There's no reason to malign them for it; good for them.  But they are wrong if they think that "Armageddon is not a battle," as Sam Vaknin says in the video below.  Anyone who fought for civil rights and/or against the Vietnam War who thinks that Armageddon is not a battle, has already "bought the dip," and is totally unprepared for the doom loop that is upon us.  But he's partially right.  Armageddon is a battle (literally), but it also may be true that Armageddon is the silence after all of us are gone.  Though I don't believe that, either.  It won't be silence.

It will be the Millennial Kingdom.

"They shall be priests of God and of Christ, and
shall reign with him a thousand years.”
Revelation 20:6

Other than his totally fallacious closing statement, he has a point.

The sucker's rally of secular humanism that still wears Nero's Cross on its sleeve and moralizes to other people from a lofty pedestal of immorality is the real trend of the world, and it is dragging many souls to hell.  The only way out is to buy the doom loop, face your sin, stop denying it, repent of it, and accept Christ's atoning sacrifice on the cross.  To believe there is another way is to throw yourself out of a tall building like an economic cat.

Except, when you hit the ground, you won't bounce.  I mean, your body might.  But not the rest of you.

Thanks for listening.

life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6
